FINAL PROJECT PROPOSAL: Magnus Opus and Exigence > Technical Documents Detailing the TerpsForLife Club
B -- I think this workplace documentation idea is really important for this worthy project. Yet, think in terms of a set of documents:
Mission Statement
Organizational Goals
Structure (officers, meetings, budget, etc.)
Research summary document (upon which to base arguments for this opt-in system)
Publicity/Communications strategy (campus, facebook, twitter, etc.)
Strategic partnerships (organ banks, AMA, etc.)
---
What do similar organizations on other campuses do?
Exciting!

Purpose: I intend to help stabilize this group through these technical documents. While I do not tend to talk to much about organ doning, I wish to put down in writing everything the group needs to agree on. As such, this paper will be the main document that will provide not only the current executives but future executives with the methods that will be used to spread information about organ doning and how it can save lives. To put it bluntly, the goal of the paper is to establish a primary document to govern the club’s agenda, membership process, and requirements. (The club’s goal is to promote becoming an organ doner) The club is a rather new club right now and its leadership is in a bit of chaos; it needs a written document outlining goals, meetings, ways to spread its ideals, and membership process to become successful.
Context: Overall, I hope to promote organ doning through this document. While this document will not provide much information about organ doning, but by stabilizing the group involved in spreading information about the stated cause, I hope to strengthen the club’s ability to spread information.
Document Type: Technical Document describing the purpose of the club and outlining the methods that will be used to spread information, explain the club’s purpose, explain how to induct members, etc
