Audience: The primary audience for this document will be my Gemstone team mentor and my fellow team members. This can also be meant for individuals who are more interested in atherosclerosis and the current research that is being done to address this issue.

Context: Atherosclerosis is a progressive, long-term disease that currently impacts many individuals no matter race, gender or socioeconomic status. By learning more about this disease one can be more aware of preventative measure they can take. Furthermore, there is much research that is being done to combat this issue, but still lacks.

Purpose: To edit the introduction and literature review that my team wrote about in regards to atherosclerosis: the main focus of our gemstone team project.

Document Type: Review and revision of literature published by my Gemstone team, Team Cor.

Design/ format: The document will begin with an introduction of what atherosclerosis is and then continue by giving a literature review of the various research that has been done on the different contributing factors of this disease in addition to what more can be done.

Citation style: Formal citations/reference sheet in APA formal
