FINAL PROJECT PROPOSAL: Magnus Opus and Exigence > College Survival Guide for the Incoming Freshman
R, good idea BUT what subset of the large, worthy topic will you take on? Living? Academic? Stress management? These themes are present in what you say.
Think about this and survey what is online generally and at UMCP; see what needs revising or updating or just plain doing better.
One approach might be to gather some cases and quotes from existing students. That might be novel way to add to this large (but not really adequate) literature.
Then, how would students find your guide?

I love this idea! Maybe you could narrow it down to a more specific subset of students though? If you are in an LLP, you could create a document helping them navigate their program and all the resources it has to offer. That way, you could even offer this document as a resource if your LLP has a 100 level class.
