FINAL PROJECT PROPOSAL: Magnus Opus and Exigence > Racial Inequalities in Health Care
P, as you describe the audience, this could be a seminar discussion paper for a pre-med student group. For example, a group that wants to help each other prepare for interviews, so that their awareness of medicine is just not science-based.
Is that the audience you envision, including yourself? As in, you want to educate yourself, too?
I think you might need to narrow the topic somewhat. Start looking at what is most interesting to you.
Here is a good overview:

You could focus on a geographic area like Baltimore, or look at big data/predictive analytics on health outcomes, immigrants/migrants and disparities...let me know what interests you the most.

Context: People of color continue to have higher rates of morbidity and mortality compared to white people for most indicators of physical health. Structural inequalities have resulted in people of color having less access to medical care and being more subject to insufficient health care and treatment. Systematic discrimination, along with implicit biases and stereotypes, have all contributed to unequal access to medical care for people of color.
Purpose: To inform people of these health disparities in order to bring attention to this issue that needs to discussed more within the medical field and that needs to be addressed with more effective solutions/policies.
Document type/design format: An informative paper that includes literature review and data analysis.
Citation style: Formal APA and some referral links.
