FINAL PROJECT PROPOSAL: Magnus Opus and Exigence > Characterization of Calbindin Expressing CA1 Pyramidal Cells in Lissencephaly (eportfolio preparation)

Audience: the intended audience of this document should be lay people as it should inform my ILS peers and faculty members of the work I completed in my lab over the summer. However, some of the language I use may be advanced as most of my audience will be part of the scientific community.

Context: I am creating this document to supplement the eportfolio requirement which we need to complete on our lab research in order to earn our ILS citations

Purpose: the purpose of this document will be to create a presentation that can convey the gist of the experiments I conducted over the summer in my neurophysiology lab. As such, I will focus on design elements as well as the verbage I use to explain my work

Document type: a presentation slide set, likely powerpoint

Design/format: A lot of the work I did this summer focused on imaging. As such, I will take many design elements into account as I create my presentation to best display my material

Citation style: my citation style will likely be APA due to the scientific nature of this document

S, good project that SK and I can use to see what the best practices are in this assignment. I advice a script, too, for your slide prep.

Also, your abstract will be a quick overview of the entire presentation.

Would a glossary help?

And, I think that two large themes would be: content knowledge and methods knowledge.

Let's chat a bit. Exciting.
