FINAL PROJECT:Structures and Arguments > How to Run a Marathon

Beginning: I will start with a short narrative of my running journey, propose that anyone can run a marathon, and preview my guide

Middle: I will offer insight, advice, and information about what goes into training for and running a marathon

End: closing remarks about the information included in the guide and an update on my training

Logos: Information with about different aspects of marathon training with detailed explanations about how and why to do certain things.

Pathos: anecdotes about my own experience (with injury, safety, training etc.) and others (ex. I found a blog where a woman details an account of being beaten while on a run by herself- this will go in the tips on safety section)

Ethos: Credibility of elite and experienced runners and coaches
Structure: I will use two main structures: 1) informational guide and 2) FAQ

Goal: inform and teach people about how to successfully train for, eat for, and run a marathon.

K, will you localize to Maryland and Metro DC?

Another way to focus this, would be for college students as this audience is young and could be interested in this sort of training/running goal. However, students are often very busy, with a training schedule perhaps interfering with study and classes.
