Abstract
This document is a guide intended to help undergraduate college students and high school students use The Myers Briggs Type Indicator and The Strong Interest Inventory in order to help pick potential majors and careers. Backgrounds and Descriptions of the Myers Briggs and Strong Interest Inventory are included, as well as information on how to interpret the user’s results, and where to take the assessments. Research supports using the two assessments together to get a better picture of careers and majors that are suitable for the personality types.

Difficult Reader
As I read this document, I could not help but doubt the legitimacy of the Myer’s Briggs Type Indicator, because of the history and validity of the assessment. This assessment was not created by psychologists, it was created by two housewives who used their interpretation of Carl Jung’s theories to create the assessment. In addition, the lack of support from the psychologists on the board of the MBTI association indicates that this is not a very good
