« One-article review due tonight | Main | Good morning 4/27 »

May 4 already; fully spring weather today

I sincerely hope you can have a moment outside today, with some sun on your face.  I changed the due dates a bit, by request:

I have changed the dates a bit because people asked for an extension to allow for a bit more time to complete two reviews for colleagues.

Complete your reviews by UPDATE TO SATURDAY! Friday May 8

REVISE YOUR REVIEW to turn in the final version for class by midnight Monday 11 (I can be flexible about this deadline and simply request that you let me know).

Then, by May 15, a brief reflection piece, that I will prompt you about.

UPDATE!  Several of you requested that I not require the reflection piece until after finals.  That is reasonable.  I expect this would help many of you.  However, show of hands!  You will respond, right?  Please listen to this audio file (just over 8 minutes about my thinking on this.

THEN, DONE.

Here is Monday's AMA+OHitS document.  I will post Wednesday's (UPDATED) and Friday's (UPDATED)by an update to this class journal entry.  My suggestion:  use these documents to ask questions about your article review assignment.  If you ask a question in these documents, you help me recreate some aspect of learning together.  Your questions and my answers are helpful to others in the class.

An 8 minute audio reflection on these documents is here.  Generally, I am so pleased to read your work.  I am learning so much about science and other technical ways to approach human knowledge.  Thank you.  I hope you can see progress over this deeply difficult semester. I also speak aboutt document shape and endings, as well as the uses and limits of perfection in documents (no typoes, errors, punctuation lapeses, etc.).
